More about this game
In this narrative game, you guide Belinda through an unannounced visit from her daughter Sally. The goal is to survive the afternoon by making dialogue and thought choices. Each choice impacts Belinda's Patience and Sanity meters, which start at 74 and 78 respectively. Setting firm boundaries often preserves Sanity but may cost Patience, while appeasing Sally drains both. You can gain a recovery bonus of 4 points for positive choices. The run ends after five chapters with one of several endings based on your final stats, or immediately if either meter hits 0.
Tips
- Direct and firm boundaries usually boost Sanity, even if they cost a little Patience. For example, setting a boundary can give you +3 Sanity but cost -3 Patience.
- Appeasing Sally might seem easier, but it heavily drains both meters over time, sometimes costing up to -15 Patience and -12 Sanity.
- Keep an eye on the meters; if Patience or Sanity hits 0, the visit ends in a breakdown. You need at least 65 Sanity and 2 boundary choices for the best ending.
