More about this game
Your goal is to guide Jack, Lisa, and their friends through a tense confrontation while managing three stats: Trust, Morale, and Tension. The core loop involves reading the current situation, switching between four character perspectives (Jack, Lisa, Tommy, or Group) to gather different insights, and selecting a dialogue choice. Each choice alters the room's stats, with starting values of 54 Trust, 50 Morale, and 52 Tension. The run ends after six scenes across three acts when you make a final decision, unlocking one of four endings based on your accumulated stats and choices.
Tips
- Comforting a pet reduces Tension by 7 and increases Morale by 2, but you can only do this twice per pet before they stop providing stat changes.
- Check every perspective before choosing; a character's inner thoughts often hint at which stat a choice will impact, such as Sue's fury raising tension by 15.
- To unlock the Shield of Trust ending, you must finish the final act with at least 68 Trust and no more than 66 Tension.
Questions
How many endings are there?
There are four endings: Shield of Trust, Public Reckoning, Quiet Healing, and Divided Hearts. Your final stats determine which one you unlock.
What do the pets do?
Comforting Sunny Two or Sunny Three lowers the room's Tension stat by 7 and raises Morale by 2. They are available during the first two acts.
Why did I get the Divided Hearts ending?
If your stats do not meet the requirements for your final choice—such as needing 53 Morale for a public reckoning or 54 Trust for quiet healing—the story defaults to the Divided Hearts ending.
