You start with a core clinic and limited funds. As patients arrive, they require specific treatments like consultations, recovery beds, or scanners. Building and upgrading these facilities costs money, but successfully treating patients generates revenue. You must balance your budget against regular maintenance costs. Recovering enough patients unlocks new hospital wings, expanding your capacity and the complexity of your care network.
Tips
- Keep an eye on your funds; regular maintenance costs are deducted automatically based on the number of facilities you have.
- Upgrade your consultation rooms early to process incoming patients faster and prevent long queues.
- Leave space around your facilities to ensure patients and staff can navigate the hospital efficiently.
Questions
How do I unlock new areas?
New hospital wings unlock automatically as you successfully treat a specific number of patients. Check the top right corner to see your progress toward the next milestone.
Why can't I place a facility?
Facilities must be placed on unlocked floor tiles and cannot overlap with other facilities, indoor plants, or block pathways.
What happens if I run out of money?
If you cannot afford the regular maintenance costs, you will not be able to build new facilities or upgrade existing ones until you earn more money from treating patients.
