Spiral Ascent: The Hollow Shaf is a vertical 3D platformer where you climb a towering shaft to break twenty seals. Navigate static and moving platforms while battling twisted fallen enemies and elite wardens. Collect echoes from defeated foes and spirits to upgrade your health, damage, speed, and magnet radius. The run ends if you lose all 5 lives by falling into the void or taking too much damage, returning you to the menu.
Tips
- Use your sword slash to auto-lock onto nearby enemies, making combat easier on narrow ledges.
- Watch the glowing blob shadow below your character to predict exactly where you will land.
- Spend your echoes in the spirit forge to increase your maximum health or sword damage.
Questions
How do I heal?
You can sometimes recover a lost life by listening to the fallen spirits found on certain platforms, but otherwise, you must survive with your 5 lives.
What happens when I fall?
Falling into the void costs one life. You will respawn at the last checkpoint you crossed on the current level.
How do I beat the bosses?
Elite wardens and the Hollow King appear every fifth level. They have much more health, so upgrade your sword damage and use your invulnerability frames after taking a hit.
