More about this game

The Vision Spectrum Wheel is an interactive artwork exploring how individual perception varies. Your goal is to examine six distinct visual accounts, such as Jack's fluctuating exposure or Lisa's neurological ripples and tilts. The core loop involves selecting a segment on the central dial, watching the 0.85-second zoom transition into the visual state, and reading the curator's note. There is no traditional difficulty, score, or fail state. A session ends whenever you decide you have fully explored the six unique perspectives and return to the main menu.

Tips
  • Pay close attention to Amelia's post-detachment view, as faint flashes of light will appear at intervals of exactly 5.5 seconds.
  • Notice how the 30 light particles orbit the central dial at varying speeds, changing opacity as they move around the wheel.
  • In Lisa's neurological vision, watch for the five temporary black spots that shift and change opacity along with the rippling spatial tilt.
Questions

What do the different segments on the wheel represent?

Each of the six segments represents a different visual perspective, such as Typical, Fluctuating, Mosaic, Neurological, Post-detachment, and Former Assumption. They are artistic translations, not clinical simulations.

How do I exit a specific vision and choose another?

Once you are inside a visual state, a curator's note appears at the bottom. Click the 'Back to wheel' or 'Reset' button to zoom out.

What happens in Owen's mosaic vision state?

Owen's perception is translated into a changing mosaic of 104-pixel square fragments. These field fragments shift in color and brightness, representing uneven access to central clarity.
