More about this game
Rainbow Mine Sweeper is a puzzle game where you must clear a grid without detonating any hidden mines. You start by opening a safe tile, which reveals numbers indicating how many mines are adjacent to it. Use these clues to figure out which tiles are safe to open and which ones hide mines. Switch to flag mode to mark the dangerous tiles. As you progress, the grid grows larger and the mine density increases. The level ends in failure if you open a tile containing a mine.
Tips
- Your first tap is always safe, so pick any tile to start.
- If a tile shows a 1 and only has one unopened adjacent tile, that tile must be a mine.
- Use the mine counter at the top to keep track of how many mines are left to flag.
Questions
What do the numbers mean?
The numbers on opened tiles tell you exactly how many mines are hiding in the adjacent tiles, including diagonals.
How do I switch modes?
Tap the glossy mode button at the bottom of the screen to toggle between Open (magnifying glass) and Flag (red flag) modes.
What happens if I click a mine?
If you open a tile with a mine while in Open mode, the mine pops, you lose the level, and you must restart.
