More about this game

In Emma: The Puppy Artist, your goal is to create a tactile painting of Misty the dog. The core loop involves switching between two distinct modes: smearing yellow and brown paint across a 14 by 14 grid to reach a 34-point coverage goal, and tapping pale bumps to raise braille dots that spell out PUPPY. The game tracks your combined progress as a percentage. A run ends when you achieve the required paint coverage and place all necessary tactile dots, completing the artwork.

Tips
  • You need to reach a coverage goal of 34 on the hidden 14 by 14 grid, so use broad strokes to fill the canvas quickly.
  • In Tactile mode, tapping a correct dot makes Misty wag her tail for 2.4 seconds, letting you know you hit the 42-pixel target radius.
  • If you make a mistake or want to start your artwork fresh, use the Wipe button to clear the paint without resetting your braille dots.
Questions

How do I know when I am done painting?

The progress bar tracks your overall completion by combining your paint coverage and dot placement. You must reach the 34-point coverage goal and place all required braille dots to hit 100 percent.

What do the raised dots spell on the paper?

The dots spell the word PUPPY in braille. There are five letters total, and placing the correct dots allows Jack to feel the artwork with his fingers once it is finished.

Can I change the paint color while I am drawing?

Yes, you can switch between yellow and brown paint using the palette at the bottom of the screen. The thick acrylic paint leaves a textured ridge on the canvas.
