More about this game

In Echo Market: Memory Trade, your memories are currency. You must navigate different districts, making moral choices that cost memory points but shape your personality and earn identity anchors. The goal is to collect enough anchors to pass through the Nameless Gate. As you progress, time shifts to night, bringing damaging Echoes. You must balance your memory reserves, pack protective items in your spatial inventory, and build a coherent identity before your memory drops to zero.

Tips
  • Pack the Ward Lantern in your Backpack to halve the memory damage taken from Echoes during the night phases.
  • Packing the Memory Vial allows you to recover 4% memory after making a risky trade.
  • Keep an eye on your memory percentage; if it drops to 0%, or below 18% with no anchors, your identity is erased.
Questions

How do I get past the Gate?

You need to collect the required number of identity anchors (usually 3) from events in the districts before the Gatekeeper will let you attempt to pass.

What happens at night?

During the Night and Midnight phases, you lose memory points to Echoes unless you have protective items like the Ward Lantern packed in your inventory.

How does the inventory work?

You have a 5x5 grid in your Backpack. You must drag and rotate items to fit them inside. Only packed items provide their beneficial effects.
