More about this game
In this action game, your goal is to survive a dungeon filled with approaching green and purple slimes. The core loop involves moving left and right to face enemies and timing your sword swings to defeat them before they touch your knight. As the seconds pass, the slimes spawn more frequently, dropping from a 2.05-second interval down to just 0.56 seconds, and their movement speed increases significantly. A run ends when you lose all three of your hearts by colliding with enemies.
Tips
- Your sword swing has a short cooldown of about 0.09 seconds after the animation finishes, so time your attacks carefully instead of mashing the button.
- Defeating a slime earns you exactly 25 points, while simply surviving adds 2 points per second to your total score.
- You gain 1.25 seconds of invulnerability after taking a hit, and the enemy is knocked back 48 pixels, giving you a brief window to reposition safely.
Questions
How do I score points?
You earn points based on two factors. You get 2 points for every second you survive the dungeon, plus an additional 25 points for every slime you successfully defeat with your sword.
How many hits can I take?
You start the game with 3 hearts displayed in the top right corner. Taking a hit from a slime removes one heart, and losing all three hearts ends your run.
Do the enemies get faster over time?
Yes, as you survive longer, the slimes will spawn more frequently and move at a faster speed. The purple slimes also move slightly faster than the green slimes right from the start.
