More about this game

Neon Blade Reflex is a rhythm-based action game where you duel cybernetic bosses by parrying their strikes. Watch the visual cues and tap, swipe, or hold exactly when the signal turns gold to score perfect hits and earn coins. Progress through the 10-stage Story Mode, facing unique masters like the Razor Knight and Nova Tyrant, or test your endurance in Endless Mode. Difficulty scales up as bosses attack faster and chain more complex patterns, with their tempo increasing as their health drops. A run ends when your 5 integrity points are depleted by missed parries.

Tips
  • Early parries in the purple window are safe and earn up to 150 coins, but wait for the gold Perfect window (105 milliseconds on Medium) to earn exactly 300 coins.
  • Double-tap attacks require you to tap twice in either the upper or lower half of the screen, depending on whether the cue points up or down.
  • In Endless Mode, the enemy evolves every 10 hits, increasing the attack tempo by 12% per tier.
Questions

How do I unlock new weapons?

You earn coins based on your timing accuracy, which can be spent in the Blade Shop. Some signature weapons, like the Redline Cleaver, are unlocked by defeating specific bosses in Story Mode.

What does the difficulty setting change?

Difficulty affects the speed of attacks, the reaction time window, and your final score. Hard mode gives you a 1.5x score multiplier but increases speed by 30% and reduces your reaction time by 30%.

How do hold attacks work?

When a hold signal appears, press and hold the screen until the circular meter fills completely. Releasing early will break your combo and reduce your damage output.
