More about this game
In this rhythm game, you conduct a raptor and a tabby cat wearing tuxedos as they belch to a 124 beats-per-minute song. Notes travel down four lanes toward a gold line at a speed of 650. Your goal is to tap the pads precisely as notes cross to build your combo multiplier and harmony meter. Missing notes drops your harmony by up to 4 points. The run ends when the 37-second song finishes, and you must maintain at least 72 percent harmony to unlock the encore.
Tips
- You have a 155-millisecond window to hit each note, but hitting it perfectly within 70 milliseconds grants a larger 1.3 point boost to your harmony meter.
- Letting a note expire completely penalizes your harmony by 4 points, while tapping at the wrong time only drops it by 1.8 points.
- Every consecutive hit adds to your combo, increasing your base score of 100 points by an additional 4 points per combo level.
Questions
How do I win the game?
You must finish the entire song with your harmony meter at or above the 72 percent goal. The meter starts at 86 percent, giving you a small buffer for mistakes early on.
What happens if I miss a note?
Your combo multiplier immediately resets to zero and your harmony meter drops. You will hear a sour note and the screen will flash red for 380 milliseconds.
How is the score calculated?
Each successful hit awards a base of 100 points. This is increased by 4 points multiplied by your current combo count, rewarding long streaks of perfect timing.
