- Watch the risk percentage; once it passes 34%, spike traps will start spawning around the island, and at 42% ambushes begin.
- Use the temporary shield power-up to absorb exactly one hit from an enemy or trap without taking damage.
- Lighting the tide runes in the correct order opens secret passages containing Epic, Legendary, or Mythic chests.

How do I unlock gates?
You need to find a brass key hidden on the island or step on all the required ancient switches to open them.
What happens when the risk level gets too high?
The island spawns more dangerous enemies like guards and hunters, and storm pressure increases trap spawns. Taking damage adds 4 to your risk, while choosing a danger path adds 24.
How do I heal?
You cannot heal during a run, but you can upgrade your maximum health up to 5 times in the shop between islands. The shop also offers a Better Lantern to brighten stormy caves and reveal treasure trails.
