More about this game
In this board-based roguelike, you explore six distinct floors by rolling a movement die to travel across the grid. Your primary goal on each floor is to collect three runes to open the exit portal while managing a rising threat level that spawns new enemies and blocks tiles. When you encounter a monster, combat shifts to rolling four combat dice. You must balance attack, guard, and magic faces to deal damage or block incoming hits. A run ends when your hero's health drops to zero or you defeat the final boss.
Tips
- Keep an eye on the threat level; every turn increases it by 1, and reaching 12 blocks a tile on the board.
- Rolling two or more magic dice in combat triggers your hero's special combo skill, like the Mage's Fireball or Cleric's Holy Light.
- Fountains heal up to 5 HP, so save them for when your health is low rather than using them immediately.
Questions
How do I open the exit portal?
You need to find and collect exactly three runes scattered across the current floor. Once you have them, the portal will activate.
What happens if I take too long on a floor?
The threat level increases by 1 every turn. At threat level 3, a new monster spawns, at 9 an elite enemy appears, and at 12 a tile becomes permanently blocked.
How does combat work?
You roll four combat dice that land on attack, guard, or magic faces. Attack deals damage, guard blocks incoming enemy hits, and magic can trigger powerful class-specific skills if you roll enough of them.
