More about this game

Take on the role of a financial advisor to a dragon. You must review 5 to 7 tax claims per quarter and decide whether to approve or reject them. Every decision affects the dragon's gold hoard, their anger level, and the risk of a royal audit. The difficulty scales up as you progress through the fiscal year. If the dragon's anger reaches 100%, you get incinerated. If the gold hoard drops to zero, you go bankrupt. Survive all 12 quarters of financial balancing to win.

Tips
  • Keep an eye on the Audit Risk meter; if it triggers a raid, the crown seizes 25% of your gold and increases the dragon's anger by 15 to 20 points.
  • Advisors cost between 24 and 32 gold but provide crucial hints, like showing if a choice will raise anger by a low, medium, or high amount.
  • Sometimes taking a hit to your gold is necessary to keep the dragon's anger below the fatal 100% threshold, especially in later quarters when penalties scale up.
Questions

What happens if Audit Risk gets too high?

If Audit Risk exceeds 60%, you may trigger a Royal Audit Raid. This event seizes 25% of your gold, increases the dragon's anger, and resets your risk back to a baseline of 10 to 20 percent.

How do I win the game?

You win by surviving all 12 quarters without letting gold hit zero or anger reach 100%. Each quarter requires you to process 5 to 7 cases before you can access the advisor shop.

What do advisors do?

Between quarters, you can spend 24 to 32 gold to hire specific advisors. They will give you approximate estimates on how approving or rejecting a claim will affect your stats, showing cues like 'Anger ↑ ~HIGH'.
