More about this game

Life Path: Text Simulator is a narrative game where you guide a character through 12 distinct moments spanning four chapters of their life. Your goal is to balance four core meters: wellbeing, purpose, connection, and money. Every decision carries a trade-off, such as sacrificing wellbeing for a higher salary or spending money to close the distance with an old friend. The run ends after the twelfth choice, revealing one of several unique life summaries based on the final values of your four meters.

Tips
  • You start with 58 wellbeing, 52 connection, 50 purpose, and 48 money, so you may need to focus on building purpose and money early on.
  • Watch out for major career choices. Accepting a promotion might grant 12 money but drain 8 wellbeing, while sprinting at work can cost you 10 wellbeing for 7 money.
  • To reach the A life held close ending, you must finish the 12 chapters with at least 75 connection and 65 wellbeing.
Questions

How many choices do I make?

You will make exactly 12 choices, divided across four chapters of life. Once you make the twelfth choice, the game calculates your final ending.

What do the four meters mean?

The meters track your wellbeing, purpose, connection, and money on a scale from 0 to 100. They change based on the specific trade-offs of your decisions, like choosing to stay close to home or leaving for university.

Are there different endings to discover?

Yes, there are multiple possible endings depending on your final meter scores. For example, finishing with 75 purpose unlocks the A life with a north ending, while ending with 75 money but under 50 wellbeing triggers the A life rebuilt conclusion.
