More about this game
Your goal is to survive as long as possible by sprinting down an endless dark corridor. The core loop requires you to type the exact words shown on screen to keep moving forward. Every correct letter pushes you ahead, while wrong keys or pausing for more than a second lets the killer get closer. As you complete more words, the required words grow longer, up to eleven letters. The run ends when the killer's proximity meter fills completely and you are caught.
Tips
- Do not stop typing for more than 1.15 seconds, or the killer will rapidly close the distance. If you idle for 2.3 seconds, the penalty gets even worse.
- Accuracy is just as important as speed. Every wrong letter drops your speed, increases the killer's proximity, and forces you to use the backspace key to fix it.
- Prepare for random jumpscares once you complete your first word and the killer is close. They flash the screen and play a loud sound, but do not actually hurt you.
Questions
How do I know how close the killer is?
A danger bar at the top of the screen fills up as the killer gets closer. You will also hear a heartbeat when the proximity passes sixty-two percent, and heavy breathing at seventy-eight percent.
Why did my screen flash red?
The screen flashes red and your speed drops when you type an incorrect letter. You must delete the wrong letter to continue.
Do the words get harder?
Yes, the game scales the difficulty based on how many words you finish. Words start at three letters and can grow up to eleven letters long.
