- Track the movement and direction of the outer target ring, which orbits at a radius of 555.
- Tap or click exactly when the ball is aligned to shoot straight into the target.
- Hit the target to increase your streak, which instantly resets the board for the next shot.

More about this game
In Orbit Snap, your goal is to build the highest streak possible by launching a ball from its inner orbit to strike a moving outer target. The core loop relies on precise timing: wait for the perfect alignment, then tap to fire the ball in a straight line. As your score increases, difficulty ramps up. The ball's starting orbit speed of 1.65 increases steadily, and the target shrinks from a starting size of 88 down to 48. A run ends immediately if you miss the target.
Tips
- The ball launches at a fixed speed of 1420, so you must learn to lead the moving target slightly to ensure a direct hit.
- Anticipate the speed changes; the orbit speed ramps up at different rates, increasing more aggressively after you reach a streak of 10 and again at 25.
- The target size shrinks from 88 down to a minimum of 48, requiring much tighter timing and precision in later rounds. Watch the target's direction closely.
Questions
How do I aim the ball?
You cannot steer or aim the ball manually. It always launches in a straight line tangent to its circular path the exact moment you tap the screen or press the spacebar.
Why did my run end?
The run ends instantly if your launched ball misses the outer target and flies out of the screen boundaries. You must hit the target every time to keep your streak alive.
Does the target always move at the same speed?
No, the target's speed drifts and it can change direction randomly between rounds. You must adjust your timing for each new setup to ensure the ball connects.
