In Neon Pulse: Shadow Survival, your goal is to keep your neon orb alive as long as possible in a shifting arena. You must dodge various shadow entities and neon shards while collecting energy cores. Gathering 10 cores lets you choose a powerful upgrade, like a shield or faster movement. The threat level increases over time, spawning more enemies and hazards. The run ends when your orb is hit by an enemy or hazard without a shield.
Tips

How do I get upgrades?
You earn an upgrade every time you collect 10 energy cores. The game will pause and let you choose one of three random upgrades.
What happens when the arena shifts?
The arena layout changes, adding new walls and hazards. You'll see a warning before it happens, and enemies near you will be pushed away.
How does the shield upgrade work?
The shield upgrade gives you a one-hit protection that lasts for 9 seconds. If you get hit while it's active, the shield breaks instead of ending your run.
