The game features a Levels mode where you must complete orders within a time limit, starting at 75 seconds, and a Sandbox mode with no timer. A run ends if the timer reaches zero.
Tips
- You only need to cover 68% of the cake with frosting to pass, so check the coverage meter at the bottom of the screen.
- You can place up to 30 toppings on a single cake, but be careful not to exceed the exact number requested by the order.
- Use the undo button (the curved arrow icon) if you make a mistake with a brush stroke or accidentally place the wrong topping.

What happens if time runs out?
If the 75-second timer reaches zero before you finish the order, you fail the level and must retry the same cake order.
Can I decorate without a timer?
Yes, choose Sandbox mode from the main menu to decorate freely without a time limit, coverage goals, or specific topping requirements.
How do I clear the cake and start over?
Tap the reset button, which looks like an X icon, in the tool dock to remove all frosting and toppings instantly.
