More about this game
The Jones Way Splash Fair is a target-throwing game where you toss sponges at moving portraits of community members. Your goal is to score points and build streaks by hitting the targets within a 45-second time limit. Each successful splash reveals a fact about the person you hit, rotating through Howard, Jack, Owen, and Lisa. As your score climbs past 700 points, the target's movement speed gradually increases, making it harder to land your shots. The run ends when the timer reaches zero.
Tips
- Lead your throws slightly ahead of the portrait, because the sponge takes exactly 0.34 seconds to travel from the bottom of the screen to the target.
- Focus on accuracy over speed to maintain your streak multiplier, as missing a single throw resets your 25-point consecutive hit bonus back to zero.
- Watch the edges of the screen carefully; the target instantly reverses direction when it hits the invisible padding on the left or right side.
Questions
How long is a round?
Each round lasts exactly 45 seconds. You must score as many points as possible and read the community facts before the timer at the top of the screen runs out.
How does the streak system work?
You build a streak by hitting the target consecutively without missing. Each hit after the first adds a 25-point bonus to your score, but a single miss resets the streak entirely.
Does the game get harder?
Yes, the target's movement speed gradually increases as your score goes up. The speed multiplier caps out once you reach a certain threshold, making late-game throws much more challenging.
