More about this game
Your goal is to clear the arena by breaking all the red and blue bricks. You start with three lives and must bounce the ball off your paddle to hit the seven rows of bricks above. Each brick you destroy earns you 100 points. The ball bounces off the walls and ceiling, but if it falls past your paddle at the bottom, you lose a life. The run ends when you run out of lives or successfully break every single brick.
Tips
- Hit the ball with the far left or right edge of your paddle to send it flying at a much sharper angle.
- You receive a 500-point bonus for every life you have left when you clear the arena, so prioritize keeping the ball in play.
- The ball moves at a high speed of 900, so keep your eyes on the lower half of the screen to react quickly when it bounces back down.
Questions
How many lives do I start with?
You start the game with exactly three lives. If you drop the ball three times, you will get a game over screen and have to restart your run.
How does the scoring system work?
Every brick you break gives you 100 points. Additionally, you get a massive 500-point bonus for each remaining life when you completely clear the arena.
Can I control the direction of the ball?
Yes, the angle of the bounce depends on where the ball strikes your paddle. Hitting it near the center sends it mostly straight up, while hitting it near the edges creates a sharp diagonal bounce.
