More about this game

Pure Sync: Rhythm Tiles challenges you to tap falling tiles exactly as they cross the pink line. The core loop involves matching your inputs to the beat across four lanes to build a streak and increase your score. Difficulty scales by increasing the scroll speed, tile density, and maximum simultaneous tiles, with modes ranging from Normal to Quick. A run ends when the song finishes, at which point your final score, best streak, and accuracy are saved to the local leaderboard.

Tips
  • Use the calibration mode to adjust your latency offset between -180 and 180 milliseconds if your taps feel out of sync with the music.
  • A Perfect hit requires tapping within a 0.045-second window, granting 120 base points, while an OK hit gives 50 points within a 0.14-second window.
  • Maintaining a combo is crucial, as your streak adds a bonus of two points per consecutive hit, capping at a maximum of 80 bonus points.
Questions

How do the difficulty levels differ?

Normal has a 1.82-second lead time with single tiles. Fast increases the density and speed. Swift introduces up to three simultaneous tiles, and Quick drops the lead time to 0.94 seconds with up to four tiles.

How is my accuracy percentage calculated?

Your accuracy starts at 100 and decreases based on your total timing error across all attempts. Missed tiles apply an additional penalty to your accuracy rating, so try to hit every note.

What happens if I miss a tile?

If a tile passes the 0.17-second miss window without being tapped, your streak immediately resets to zero. You will not earn any points for that note, and your overall accuracy will drop.
