More about this game
In this role-playing simulation, you manage the social media feed of Jack Jones, a blind musician whose band just landed a magazine cover. You start with 68 Reputation and 74 Calm. Your goal is to reply to six comments while maintaining these meters. You can type your own responses or use tone starters to address praise, backhanded compliments, and trolls. Empathy and boundaries earn points, while hostility drains your calm. The session ends when all comments are handled, calculating a final community score.
Tips
- Set firm boundaries with trolls to protect your Calm meter, as engaging poorly will drain it by 10 points, while a good boundary boosts both meters.
- Show gratitude to supportive fans using words like thank you or appreciate to earn an empathy reward of 8 Reputation points and increase your calm.
- Avoid using hostile words like idiot or loser, as they will heavily penalize both your Reputation and Calm by 13 points each and ruin the tone.
Questions
How do I get a high score?
Balance your Reputation and Calm by setting boundaries with trolls and showing gratitude to genuine fans. You need a final community score of 82 or higher to get the best ending where you keep the signal clear.
What happens if my Calm drops?
Your Calm meter decreases when you engage poorly with trolls or use hostile language. If your score drops too low, you will get an ending suggesting it is time to step away from the feed and protect your boundaries.
Can I use the tone starters instead of typing?
Yes, you can click the Warm, Grounded, or Firm buttons to automatically fill the input with a pre-written response tailored to the specific comment, like a flirty fan or a backhanded compliment.
